MICHAEL MAROULI
RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 5 finalist, Michael Marouli will be our headline act for Walsall Pride 2024. Not only finding a higher level of fame from the TV show, Michael has also been performing world wide for just under 15 years. Very well known around the Gran Canaria Cabaret scene, where Michael was able to preform 5 nights a week and have a chance to perfect the art of Drag. She describes her self as camp, daft, filthy, fabulous and iconic - with original number that that are sure to keep you entertained and engaged!
GLAMOUR
Where to begin - Glamour has a Drag Career that spans decades and has performed all over the world before recently retuning to her home. She was has played a fundamental role in helping mold the Birmingham Gay Scene, and is a much-loved face and personality within the community. Before handing the reigns over to Cleo, Glamour was our resident hostess, She is truly a guest of honour, and we bet her arms will be tired after flying over all the way from Gran Canaria to make a very warm return to the Cabaret stage. She will be bringing back some of the old favourites that are unmatched - with beautiful costumes and a great mix of old and new!

BLU ROMANTIC
Blu romantic is a cutting edge Drag King, superstar. Wowing crowds across the country, a spectacular host, working with both the drag and burlesque circuits. This Drag Idol UK 2023 finalist is hugely likeable, their numbers are big crowd pleasers, and they are giving the drag queens a run for their money. Some say Drag Kings are the future and Blu is one of the big players coming through. Da Ba Dee Dab Ba Dai Indeed.

DR BEV
Dr Beverley is no stranger to Prides Stages, or The Red Lion! She is a class act that has been seen all over the world! We have finally been able to secure a slot with one of the country's top drag acts, due to the moving of Cardiff Pride where she is not only the Hostess - but also sits on the committee and is an integral part of the organising and logistics of the day. Of course, you can expect great old school jokes - and vocals that are certainly worth a listen.
SAFFRON SLAYTER
Saffron is a Musical Theatre Graduate, turned Drag Queen from Essex. With big hair and bright colours, she’s ditched the musicals for 80’s bangers and upbeat live singing sure to get you all dancing like it’s a Saturday night ... (even in the afternoon)!
LADY IMELDA
Virgin performer on our Cabaret Stage, Lady Imelda has performed all over the country and is said to be the classiest Drag Queen since Rice. She will be bringing amazing vocals, and costume changes at the drop of a hat.
CLEO
Cleo is the face and heart of the Red Lion in Walsall. Working every weekend with the top artists from around the country, her hospitality and the ambience she creates cannot be matched. We cannot think of a better hostess to hand the reigns to and keep you entertained.
